As long as I can remember I have been a bit of a hyperbolist. I like to make a story better which meant bigger. I like to make someone larger than life. An experience grander. A reality bolder. A truth fuller. I am working on this.

I continue to think about the quote "we are children of God."

All of us?

You mean I can think of someone not just as say my boss but of God?
Not as a leader but of God.
Not as my child but of God.
Not as the mother of my husband but of God.
Not as my parent but of God.
Not just as a neighbor but of God.
Not as my brother but of God.
Not as a friend but of God.
Not as a minority but of God.
Not as a racist but of God.
Not as a sinner but of God.
Not as an atheist but of God.
Not as a distant cousin but of God.
Not just as my soul-mate but of God.
Not just myself but I am of God.

Hum sorta makes me rethink my thought on peeps.

"And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." (Mark 11:25)

Dr. Ralph F. Wilson brought me to this prayer:

Lord, you can tell that from our hearts we have a hard time loving everyone as children of your own. Forgive us. Cleanse us. And infuse us with the kind of love you have that can love and redeem us in all our conflicted rebellion. Renew us to a state of Love and Reconciliation. Transform us by your Spirit, we pray, in Jesus' name. Amen.

May we all quickly find grace in forgiveness in everyone in our lives and beyond at all times and at all costs. May I not exaggerate this immediate need but help fulfill it.

Is it possible we share bold, fresh expressions of what Christian Spirituality really is today?

Perhaps we both have new and experimental concepts of the Truth?

The Truth being at the end of it all ,all the bad and all the good, all the sin and all the good will, all the tears and all the laughs, all the pain and all the glad, we still smile and enjoy life with one another.

We still embrace one another with all the compassion and forgiveness we can muster up at that very moment.

We have more Love than one can measure.

And that out WAYS all the rest.

For God's WAY says Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have,
get understanding. Proverbs 4:7

The only real cost to be ""worried"" about is The Cost of Following Jesus.

Won't we help one another in following his Grace? His Surrender? His Devotion? The Price he has Paid for Us!

I do not have the answers.
I do not know the mystery.
I can not predict the ending or the beginning or even the in-between.
Nor can anyone else no matter the degree of enlightenment or life experience.

I am not worthy of judgment on anyone's life.
I am not worthy of judgment on anyone's death.
Especially my own.
When death or life arrives there is no blame, guilt, control, or doubt.

The only real things we have are:

The Choice of Surrender.
The Free Will of Loving Kindness and Sympathy.
The Decision of Grace.
The Spontaneous Ability to Trust.
The Power of Mercy Now.
The Preference of Forgiveness.
The Yielding to a Savior, a Text, a life of Prayer and Devotion.

May our Joy be full all the days of our life.
May our Hearts open tenderly to YES!!!
May our Minds gently relinquish control.
May our Bodies feel and know We Are Alive.

Lord's Grace. Amen.

I said something last night at b.study which was not the Sacred. I believe it was of the "other side." The Dark not Light. The Wrong not Right. The Diabolical not Holy. The Lucifer not Christ. The Satan not God. The Wicked not Spirit. The Devil not Truth.
If we believe in energy then we can believe in force. If we believe in force then we believe in movement. And movement brings change. And change brings Truth when we listen to the the Sacred voice, rather than the condemning voice.
Henri Nouwen said, “Self-rejection is the greatest enemy of the spiritual life because it contradicts the sacred voice that calls us the ‘Beloved.’
Rachel Olsen says, "Being beloved constitutes the truth of our existence."
1 John 4:16, “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.”
God says WE ARE BELOVED.
Back to my comment. I said "I'll probably never have the relationships with my family that I want." My family including parents, brothers, in-laws, family.
What I want is to love them unconditionally and accept them completely. And I would love the same in return.
This IS absolutely possible. Without the Hope of this I am casting out God's Power and that is not my intention.
I awoke knowing God is Omnipotent and Will meet our needs as long as we continue to shed our skin of doubt. As long as we continue to hurl with vigor our anxiety and worry through the door not to return again. As long as we recognize our pain and move through it. As long as we know God dearly loves us, so much he sacrificed his only child for US!

Lord,

Take away worry.
Teach us Love and Reconciliation.
We all belong to You.
