sweet baby

February Twenty-Seventh, Two Thousand and Seven (2-27-07)
Dear Robert Gordon Wilkinson III (Trey) or Ella Lorraine Wilkinson,
So much love to you already... In 10 days we will all know you a little more and if you are a young man or women. Further, tomorrow I am told your soul enters your precious little body. What an amazing time for us. You are bringing such good news to the world!
What is a soul? I have no idea. The conclusions I have drawn thus far on the reasons our souls have life are as follows: To know all is one equally. To love all you encounter. To respect yourself. To know all this love is divine. To surrender to God. Truth is your identity. To be present and live in the moment. To live for each other. To thank God. To fight for justice and freedom. To use your natural strengths. To love your life!
You are bringing such inspiration to this world already and no one has even seen your beautiful face yet. Daddy applied to Law school to provide all he possibly can to you in your first decade or two of life and is reading Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird with you right now. Mommy sings dances and reads more than ever! Grammzy moved to a new home to prepare to nurture and love you! Granddaddy calls and writes often to hear about all your updates! Gigi & Grandad are remodeling their entire home for your arrival! Great Grandma (who has always been great but now is written with a capital G) loves you dearly. Mattie and Wadsworth eagerly await play time with you. All the men are having fun betting to see what sex you will be! All the women are busy planning parties for you! The students want to measure your growth every day, talk with you, and snuggle with you. Moreover, five garden beds of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and herbs were planted for you yesterday. You are so loved!
We will arrive to the doctor soon and get our first real clue about you. We plan to head to the beach and celebrate the good news!! We are so blessed!
-Mommy

Love

We know that we are one with Love. This is our true gift.
This Love is perfectly pure. Love is within all and beyond all.
Everyone meditates. All souls meditate on Love.
All souls are one with Love. All souls come from Love.
O Saints, meditate on Love and all pains will fly away.
Love is the Master. Love is the Servant.
Everyone is empty-handed without Love.
Love is in each beat of our heart, and in all hearts.
Some are givers and some are receivers. This is all Love.
Love is endless and infinite. There are no real words to describe its virtues.
Love is a sacrifice and way to serve.
Meditate on Love. Meditate on Love and your soul will be at peace in this world.
Meditate on Love and live freely. Live freely and know the noose of death is meaningless.
Mediate on fearless Love and live free from fear.
Those who serve, O those who serve are One and look divine.
Blessed, O Blessed are they who mediate on Love.
Devotion, O Devotion to Love is a treasure trove that ever overflows.
Lovers praise beloved Love forever and ever.
For Love, just for Love, thank-you for endless discipline.
For each other so much will we do.
Lovers, all real Lovers are sublime.
Love is the Primal One, the most awesome Creator of everything.
There is none as great as Love.
Throughout time and beyond time, Love is the one constant and true Creator.
Everything happens according to Love.
Love creates the whole universe. Love destroys it and creates it again.
We sing the praises of Love forever and ever.
Love is the Knower within all souls.

Serve.

God we serve you.
But how?
Is it in the way we prepare our homes?
Is it how we treat the ones closest to us?
Is it measured in our relationships?
Is it determined by the amount of pure laughter bellowing about us?
God we all want and need to serve you.
Show us your way.
Give us the courage to drop all that does not really exist.
All the barriers from you.
And show us your ways.
Fathers when you pray mean it.
Take every word from your mouth and celebrate God!
Mothers when you hold your children mean it.
Take every chance to feel your body next to your kin.
Slow down.
Stretch.
Listen to the trains passing by.
Hear the birds chirping.
Enjoy the animals.
Find goodness in all of humanity.
All that life has to offer!
Breathe together daily.
Smell the peace and love in your home.
Invite friends over and serve.
See the blessings around you and be grateful!
Know the light and love in and around you.
God we keep our vows to you.
God we mother to all who are in need.
God we nurse the ones who need it most.
God we wash the feet of the tired soles.
May we all slow down to see the way things really are.
The beauty in this world.
The true light among us.
God you are in everything we serve.
Amen.

Dear Trey

We will teach respectability and responsibility.
Robert Gordon Wilkinson III you have a complete, full, isolated, sovereign identity.
You spring forth fully formed.
I identify you as a complete, total individual.
Dad will give you your ‘grit’, the strength of your identity.
We feel that you Trey are a complete, independent sovereign person within our family.
We will give you a chance to defend yourself always.
No one is above the law in our home.
We will teach; "So shall you sow, so shall you reap.”
And when you do a fault, you lose your sovereignty and you subject yourself.
And subjection is worse than death.
We will address you kindly politely compassionately.
We are calm and courteous in speaking always.
We will treat you like a person.
We will build an unshakeable base and union with God.
We value truth and justice.
We will give you self respect and self justice.
You are what you are; being proud of it is your right.
Your will decides your life.
This is our prayer and manifesto today.
