God appeared on the wall today.
Where did it come from?
Who put it there?
No no it couldn't be
No not possible no.
Could I have spread my wings far enough
Open enough
To receive this blatant truth.
That God surrounds us in all places
In all ways.
All we must do is allow.

Whole
Am I truthful, honest, trustworthy?
The layers are thick, deeply involved
Buried with intense holes, spots, ridges, cracks.
Yet not of things abandoned or lacking
But of places of allowance and light
Able to shine
Able to glow in love.

Angel
Why must we have a goal for everything?
The way we live
What we say
How much to get
Even the length of our breath
Enough Already.
But sometimes and only ever so often
Do we cut straight to the core of truth.
It spreads
Spreads deep into the fabric of our being
Our body and soul release.
Spreading our wings as angels
Knowing we have done enough
We are enough.
We come together
Our eyes smiling in truth
Our lips curling towards the heavens
Our being united with God.
The way we live
What we say
How much to get
Even the length of our breath
Enough Already.
But sometimes and only ever so often
Do we cut straight to the core of truth.
It spreads
Spreads deep into the fabric of our being

Voice
Let's not think about the future tonight.
Why want to hurry grace?
Abandon the past.
Why we repeat it in our minds I'll never know?
Beginning Beginning Beginning
to feel the pulse down to my knees
delicate...
What does he think of me?
When we think we must write.
Bringing myself back to the goodness, softness, wholeness
of my own pure voice.
How can we help the little girl who cannot speak?
The girl who hides behing the giant paperbag?
Smile.
Let your face climb up up to the sun
Give over to the earth and allow
her this ONE chance.

One day I may be abstract, complex, a high-level thinker
Yet today as I wait for the words to take hold
I cannot take credit for any such way.
As I listen with peace and stillness
No longer thinking so hard
I soften.
There is no rush to create
Only light to sink in.
What light?
Look closer
be not so quick to take credit
for there is more than
the burning desire of perfection.
Yet today as I wait for the words to take hold
I cannot take credit for any such way.
As I listen with peace and stillness
No longer thinking so hard
I soften.
There is no rush to create
Only light to sink in.

The Ride to Trust
As our flame flickers each ray moves to it's own dance
We circle Left
Swirl Right
Round and Round we go
Like an amusement park ride whheee...
What fun yet so fast
so snapping,
so popping,
so flickering,
so jerky,
Then we begin to slow the dance to a gentle sway
Our liquid is clear now
We move with ease and patience.
Focused Steady to the core.
Guided now we are able to imagine trust
Ultimate, ever by your side
Not pushing too fast nor holding too long
These are the words of one.

Within
So many others to be
the wealthy elitist
the jolly good soul
the slender sleek yuppie
the prolific young writer
Why not try, I don't know, yourself for once?
Slip on your skin
Widen your eyes
Take your body for a ride
Open your mind and feel
Feel comfortable in your own skin
And enjoy the journey within.

Seeing
Look at your child
Can you see it?
The World works in mysterious amazement
How we know it all works out in the end?
How we know life takes its spins?
We look into each others eyes.
It IS that easy.
Look at your children parents
Look at your lover men
See all the wonders woman and BE in God's space.
Drink in the images of love slowly through the eyes
And see the world in its fullness.

Breath
As breath moves up and down through the face and mind what do we breathe?
Are we dancing to the rhythm of our future or to the motion of our past?
Or are we possibly alive in today?
Have we cuddled in love, dressed in care?
Felt a part of a kindness in thought
or moved with a jerk in a meaningless battle fought?
Eyes closed, toes curled
Our rosy eyelids try to discern the world around
Our minds bobble in breath and we exude slow peace.
